Sleeping Beauty Part II was doing my rounds through the wilds of my home, when I saw her. At first, I thought she was dead, and would have paid her little mind, until I heard a soft moan, and then a whimper of pain. Crashes aren't terribly unusual here, but survivors are. I hurried over to her, glancing up at the sky, the sun sinking rapidly toward the horizon. As I rolled her over, I grimaced at the sight of her broken legs. One of her arms must have been pulled out of joint, too, but it looked as though she had fallen feet first. Anyway, her shins were shattered. She was just lucky not to have gone down the other direction.

611 Part 1It was the first day living in my new house when I saw it. I had been exploring the neighborhood, trying to get a better feel for it than I had at first. I was lucky to have been able to transfer to this place, as I'd requested a year ago. Anyway, I had been exploring, as I said, in the hopes that I'd have some nice neighbors. I also wanted to figure out if I'd be able to walk to work. Turned out, I could. But after seeing this place, I decided that I may have to change my original plan, so that I could walk past it on my way to and from work.

WriMo 2007 Part 4“Reynolds,” came Jacobson's voice over the telecomm in her ear, “Have you got the ship ready for group A?”   
The tall black woman stood and touched her temple, “Almost, sir. Some of the harnesses don't look too good, so I've got Hughes replacing them. The life-support is working beautifully, though, and all of the personal emergency kits are stocked. How is the luggage going?”   
“Bah! I had forgotten how heavy some of this was. And double-checking everything for legal personal weapons is taking a lot of time. Bernal is helping, but I'd like you to send Hughes over when you're done with WriMo 2007 Part 4

This gallery is now a scrap gallery. Yes, only scraps and other unfinished works will be posted here. This does include my novels-in-progress. I always appreciate comments, but when leaving them, please remember that I only log on here to put up my newest work in progress, chapter thereof, or piece thereof.

Another note on comments: I would love any helpful comments, critiques, etc. Praise and flames will be responded to as well, but are far less what I am looking for here. I want to improve my works-in-progress.
